Die kleine Renaissance-Kapelle San Giovanni in Oleo besitzt einen achteckigen Grundriss. Der Bau stammt aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und wurde später von Borromini umgebaut. San Giovanni in Oleo steht angeblich an der Stelle, wo Johannes der Evangelist in siedendes Öl geworfen wurde, diesem aber völlig unversehrt entstieg.
